Atlantic 10, Mountain West Conference announce new challenge series

On Thursday, the Atlantic 10 and the Mountain West Conference announced a new partnership that will pit men's basketball teams of both conferences against each other for at least two seasons, and up to four. The leagues will begin the Mountain West/Atlantic 10 Challenge in 2020-21.

Frank Pinkner, 79, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 15, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He had suffered a serious seizure 10 days earlier and valiant attempts to save his life were overcome by pneumonia.

The Warriors' main offensive goal has been, and - I imagine, so long as Steve Kerr is the head coach - always will be to get good open shots. In the early days of this Warriors' dynasty, that meant an abnormal number of 3-point attempts, at least compared to the norm at that time.
